Karisma

The Korean women artists’ group Karisma, based in San Diego, has spent the past three years sharing grace upon grace through art—just as our name suggests. We are both professionals and amateurs, coming together each week or each month with a shared love for art. In our gatherings, we exchange our hearts, reflect deeply on life, faith, and the meaning of art, and create work side by side.

Karisma is a collective of 10 Korean women artists based in San Diego, working across a wide range of disciplines including fine art, mixed media, sculpture, art film, and video art.

Each member brings her own artistic language, yet we share a common vision:
to record our lived stories, emotions, and identities through art, and to cultivate a community where creativity can flourish.
