Suehee Kim

Suhee Kim brings a personal and contemplative perspective to her acrylic paintings, drawing inspiration from familiar places, characters, memories, and everyday experiences. Moving between peaceful landscapes and playful imagery, she transforms recognizable subjects into visual expressions of emotion and personal connection. Rather than following a single style or interpretation, Kim allows each subject to carry its own meaning. A quiet landscape may evoke rest and togetherness, while familiar characters bring humor, nostalgia, and personality into her work. Through these varied subjects, she explores how ordinary images can become connected to our individual memories and emotions.Kim’s paintings invite viewers to bring their own experiences to what they see, creating moments of comfort, reflection, joy, and connection between the familiar and the personal.
